May 31 MCO HPDE at Calabogie!

The Motorsports Club of Ottawa is pleased to host an evening of lapping on May 31, 2026 at the fabulous Calabogie Motorsports Park!  We run rain or shine, from 17:00 to 19:00.  Registration onsite opens at 15:30, and there is a mandatory driver's meeting at 16:30.

Solo drivers and drivers with coaches will be running an open event on the Stadium Track.  New drivers will be using the West Track. Everyone will need a helmet, and they are available to rent from the track.

This event will be busy, with plenty of traffic on course.  This is ideal for those of you working towards a "sign off" by Calabogie for solo driving in their events.  We won't be "signing off" participants, but if you are working with a coach who also works with the track, there is a possibility that you could be recommended for a solo check out ride at a later event.

Please Note: this event is open to cars only.  This event is not open to EVs due to track restrictions.  If you are bringing an open roof car, such as a Miata, you will need to have proper roll-over protection.  Unsure of what that means?  Email lapping@mco.org

All participants must have a Snell-approved helmet (2015 or later).  No helmet?  No problem -- you can rent one at the track.
