2026 Race into Winter Watercross
About this event
Welcome back Drivers for the 2026 season. The EWA would like to officially invite racers from all around the world to our annual event at Race into Winter hosted by the NHSA. October 9-11, 2026.
Updates for 2026:
1. Drivers registering for Friday events (warm up, Jump, Women’s, and Duels) need to be checked in and paid by 1:30 in order to participate.
2. All Pro and Semipro Drivers must be registered and entries paid by Friday October 3rd in order to race. No on site registration for Pro and Semipro
3. Minimum class size – All classes must have 8 pre-registered drivers. Any class with less than the required minimum 8 drivers will be cancelled and fees will be refunded.
4. Class Limits: Pro and semipro classes cannot exceed a total of 48 combined (ie. 20 pro 28 semipro or 24 pro 24 semipro) this will keep our heat count to 72 total (36 sp/p open and 36 sp/p limited) increments will be in counts of 4 so if we have 20 we will need an additional 4 min to go to 24. Total heat count must be maintained.
Sport oval will be capped at 40
Priorities:Drivers that competed in the prior year at race into winter will take priority over new entries. This includes drivers moving up in a class. (ie if a semipro rider from 2025 wants to move up in 2026 they will get the spot over a new driver in pro that did not compete in 2025)
5. Sport classes will remain untouched and include Sport 650 Drags, Sport 850 Drags and Sport Oval. However, the same sled cannot be entered in both sports drag classes. Sport class size limits are 24 max each
6. Drag classes Max 24 each. Class 1 Pro Open Drags (open to all sleds) Class 2 Limited Drags Sled must have competed in the oval classes prior to entry. A Sled can be entered only once in any drag class. (no sled shall be in both classes regardless of driver.) Same cost for each class $100 (90+10)
7. No sled swapping. Once a sled enters a class it must continue throughout the completion of the class entered.
8. Procedure for disqualification in a final: In the event that a driver is disqualified for any rule violation in a final event, either during the race or at post-race inspection, the driver will automatically be scored as last place, and any purse or awards will be forfeited.
9. Non cornforming numbers on sleds will be identified and if uncorrected prior to the competition will be scored last in each heat. Please see lated rules on conforming numbers.
Please ask questions sooner than later by email to Info@ewaracing.com We hope everyone has an exciting summer at their local races and look forward to seeing you at this world class event.
